Night 2

I have to make this a quick post because I'm going to head in to town to try and get tickets for Taking Woodstock tonight.
Last night was amaing (I feel like that may be the theme for the festival).  We were so lucky to get tickets to the premier and only showing of Michel Gondry's film: L'epine dans le coeur (a thorn in the heart).  He was the director of hits such as Eternal Sunshine of the Spotless Mind, The Science of Sleep, etc.  This movie was premiering in the palais but in a smaller theater, which made it even more amazing when were realized we were sitting only feet away from him!!! The movie was a documentary about the life of his aunt and her relationships with her family, and it was very moving to see.  After the screening we were able to take pictures with him, and he seems incredibly down to earth and is an amazing director.  One of my friend's Ashley was nearly in tears since he is her absolute favorite director, so that was very exciting to watch her meet him.
After the screening we headed to a bar to a bar near the Palais to see and be seen (pretty sure it was more of the former...), all in all making it a very exciting and successful night 2!
