i'm here!!

Hello all you 3 followers of my blog!!! Bienvenue!!!! So I officially arrived in Europe.  London was awesome.  My flight went great and I immediately met some people from my program so that made traveling easier.  We were only in London for 2 days so we did an oversee bus tour to see everything in a short amount of time.  Then some of us explored London on our own and did a mini pub crawl if you will with a friend of an AIFS student who is studying in London.  We had a blast and got to meet quite a few international students.  The next day we were up supppper early to catch our flight to Nice.  It's like a 20-30 minute bus ride to Cannes.  We had a quick meeting then got to our rooms!  My roommate is a girl I've gotten to know pretty well the last couple of days named Maria (so for all you who know that my name is Leah Maria this is fun!).  She is from Boston but goes to Chapman in California.  A lot of people on my trip go there but surprisingly none knew each other!  A lot of the students are either film majors that are looking forward to the Film Festival or a lot of PR and Comm students so I fit in quite nicely!  The campus/rooms here are AMAZING!  We have a view of the courtyard and the Mediterranean.....we have big desks a couple of closets and even a sink ha!  So anyway this blog probably doesn't quite make sense yet, I'm very disoriented due to lack of sleep!  But I love and miss you all and promise to write more when my words make sense!!!
